• i recall when St. Andrews Church was being built back in the 1960's, as a little boy attending St. Andrews School I was amazed to watch the construction of this beautiful church. I alter served here for Fr. Botak, Fr. Lacey and lastly Fr. Vuskinic after which time I moved on to high school (Eastdale) I would attend services on weekends with my family of who only my sister Kathy now attends. After high school I joined the Canadian Army and whenever I was able to come home I would make sure I attended Sunday services here. I recall the church being so tightly packed wirth parishoners that it was standing room only Wow I thought, this is a Fantastic community of God fearing people and I was proud to belong to it.
